Keep Mats & Tangles Under Control—Without the Stress

Say goodbye to stubborn mats and hello to a healthier, happier coat. The FURminator® 2-in-1 Doodle Grooming Tool is specially designed for dogs with curly, long, silky and wiry coats that are prone to matting. Combining a dematting tool and a finishing comb in one convenient design, it helps you safely remove mats, detangle fur and maintain a salon-worthy coat between professional grooming appointments.

Whether you have a Goldendoodle, Labradoodle, Poodle or another curly-coated breed, regular grooming can help prevent painful matting and reduce the need for an unwanted "shave down" at the groomer.

How to Use

For Mats & Severe Tangles

  1. Hold the hair below the mat to minimise pulling.
  2. Start with the wider-spaced dematting blades near the ends of the mat.
  3. Use short, controlled strokes in the direction of hair growth.
  4. Work gradually towards tighter areas.
  5. Switch to the closer-spaced blades as the mat loosens.
  6. Finish by combing through the coat using the stainless steel finishing comb.

For Regular Grooming

  • Use the comb side with smooth strokes following the direction of hair growth.
  • Begin at the head and work towards the tail.
  • Focus on common matting areas such as behind the ears, under the legs and around the chest.
  • Regular grooming helps reduce tangles and keeps coats soft and manageable.
